I'm looking at a set of saddlebags for my Monster and my Daytona 675 (one set of bags, move depending on which bike isn't running).

I was looking at the Nelson Rigg CL-950 here:

And the Givi T449:

The Givi's are bigger, but I think both will be more than adequate for my needs.  On the Daytona everything is stock, but on the Monster I have the Zard dual setup with one pipe on each side.  Nelson Rigg sells a heat shield cover that I was going to get regardless.  Does anyone have any experience with either of these bags?  Really I just want something that is going to be safe and stable on either bike.

Thanks.

Don't have specific experience with these bags, but I'll offer my opinion anyway. Nelson Rigg is a top notch company that stands by its products and is known for their soft bags. Givi is better known for their hard luggage. I don't know what Givi's warranty is on softbags - Nelson Rigg's is amazing. As much as I like Italian...I would go with Nelson Rigg.

Thanks.  Yesterday I bought the Nelson Rigg bags, so it is good to know that they will stand behind them.

I'll let everyone know how it all turns out.

I've had a Nelson Rigg tank bag for 10 years and other than the color fading the bag is still solid and water tight.
