Yes it is.

I've had it for years.

It has a few drawbacks though.

It has no broiler. I realize we're all rugged north folk, but in the middle of winter it sucks to have pan fried steak because you were too lazy to move the grill into the barn...and...

the new house will be airtight and combustion appliances need to be supplied air.

I'm thinking a newer model designed around supplied air will save me a make the beast with two backs ton of work.

won't the airtight house have an air exchanger? and would that not provide enough air for a gas stove?
i know airtight houses need the air exchanger, but no clue about the combustion appliances.
