Florida first-timer

Hello, I'm a first time Monster owner in North Florida, and it's also my first street bike.  I had dirt bikes as a young whippersnapper, but I've always loved the Monster ever since I saw my first one in the early nineties.  I remember particularly a yellow 900 with "Fast by Ferracci" on the gas tank.  I never forgot that yellow paint job.  Recently I started playing around on eBay with classic bike bids, and a yellow 750 came up with a local seller.  It's a 1999 with 13.8k on the clock.  I've been doing all the routine maintenance and minor part replacements, taking the MST class, buying gear, and now I'm taking longer and longer rides as I get used to the bike and the techniques of street riding.
I love this bike, and I'm enjoying the whole experience.  I also love the fact that I got my Ducati about the same time as Valentino Rossi got his.  Looking forward to the new MotoGP season, can't start soon enough for me!
