I don't remember seeing anything suggesting new small cc bikes. Some observers have suggested it ... but I thought it was all about getting their existing products to the market cheaper.

I would have thought any new mass-market product may stretch their R&D / QC resources too far. So if this is about producing a CBR250 competitor then we would have another set of arguments but everything I have seen talks about a 'final assembly' plant suggesting existing parts/designs.
