Hello! noob from Metro Detroit checking in

Hey everyone,

I am looking to get a Monster S2R this weekend. God I hope I am making the right decision!  I absolutely love the Monsters and the S4R and S2R swingarm is a thing of absolute beauty. 
Of course I have my first mod already planned...new gas tank from the dealer. Anyone have luck with coating the inside of their plastic tanks?? I hate the idea of getting a replacement and it warping all over again.

For fellow Detroiters I am out in Garden City and do most of my local rides on Hines and Huron River..other than that a few jaunts out to Hell and back when its not frozen over. If you know of some... any twisties PLEASE let me know!

Currently I have a 400 baby Bandit (the one that looks like a mini Monster) that I am learning to wrench on..also have a 82 Honda Custom 450, an old 71 Suzuki Dirt bike and I just got rid of a 600 Ninja.
