Hi everyone!  I am new to the DMF...just purchased a brand new Monster 796 ABS...very, very happy about it and excited to get back into riding.  I took a 5 year break from riding Harleys.  As my friend says, it's like going from a tractor to a ferrari!  So true!  Fell in love with my gorgeous beast during the test ride.  I am a 41 year old female and a trauma nurse in SoCal at a very busy trauma hospital...I ride very conservatively and my main focus is to be completely safe, ride within my means, and just enjoy the ride (don't want to end up at my own hospital as a trauma patient!  That would be bad!)  I consider riding to be my therapy...it's just me and the road, and nothing else.  If there is anyone in the Los Angeles, San Fernando valley area who would be interested in riding with me, please hit me up!  In the meantime, ride safe and have fun!
