Production will begin soon, as they have their funding -

Cool piece of tech that clips to you iPhone and converts the lens to a 360 degree of view. Their software then converts (de-warps etc) the video and allows to to pan playing video that you recorded.

Could be really fun on a bike (if an iPhone can capture motion well)

I don't think it would work very well on a bike. You need to manipulate it as it records.

How'd you get that?

The only manipulation needed is to start or stop the recording using the native iPhone camera. You crunch the raw video after that converts it from the warped 'donut' to something flatter. You don't pan the view while recording

So basically it records 360 and you then play it back? That would be cool.

Yep. 360 recording, then you output to video - that you can pan while it's playing.

Yeah the lens creates a 360 image thats flat so the camera can pick it up.  Then the soft ware takes that donut image cuts it open un-warps it and creates a virtual 360 image that you can click and drag while the video plays back.  So if you take a ride and you play it back you can swing around your view and catch what you want.

Very cool need to make a dot for the HD Pro.
