Kevlar lined gloves - itchy?

Does anyone know if the kevlar lining in motorcycle gloves will cause itching? I thought it was my imagination at first, but I think that the kevlar lining in my Alpinestars GP Pro and Held Phantom gloves tends to cause my hands to itch/blister in certain spots. I did a Google search but didn't come up with anything. Is it the tiny fibers that cause the itching?
