Anyone have an ST4s? Looking to get one, but want your opinion.

I'm looking to get another bike in addition the monster, since it isn't a great long distance rider for me. I was looking at a few used ST4s. Any input on this bike? Is it worth getting one with ABS for the extra cost? Any differences worth noting between the model years? Anything in particular to look for on a used one? I have done the normal google reading research on them, but would like some "hands-on experience", both good and bad. Thanks!
