did i mention i love pcola? lol... another thing about it.. the south still has its share of racism.. really everywhere still does but in most places people just think it they dont actually verbalize it.. the south hasn't really learned to keep their mouths shut yet...it has gotten a million times better in the last several years though...but racism isn't very prevalent in pcola & i also credit that to the fact its a military town and you get people from all over with all different backgrounds

IM SO JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!! There's a lighthouse on base that you can tour also & an old military fort...fort barrancas...

Was briefly stationed in P-cola.  From what I recall, you could go to strip bars, car dealerships, pawn shops or churches.  Or, you could go to car dealerships, strip bars, churches or pawn shops.  If that doesn't work out, you could go to church, pawn shops, car dealerships or strip bars.  Or...

Didn't get to the beach much.  Hurricanes Erin and Opal kinda ruined that.

Going on my limited experience aeeing the place, That pretty much sums it up SC!  The Base seemed to be about the best part. I must've been in the wrong areas but I didn't like the place. The beach was beautiful, however. We also crossed the bridge and went to Gulf breeze.

the beach is the best part...i couldnt even tell you whats on the outskirts of the nas or the beach, cause i never went anywhere else...but i LOVED the beach & think the blue angels are exceptionally cool

but did you make the turn from gulf breeze & go over the bridge to pensacola beach?

Do they still have the exhibit with the flight ops on a carrier deck with a recording of radio chatter in the background?

Sensory overload in that place..especially lugging around an 8 mo old!!  I'm sure it was there.
