Nice ride!

Side note: Bucyrus Erie made all kinds of big earth moving equipment. They're out of business now but the building where that shovel was made is 10 minutes from my shop.

Wow! You make me want to get out and ride more, Buckethead! I did a tiny fraction of this loop (well, sort of) this weekend, rode up Buckhorn Rd from Horsetooth up to CO 14 and back down 287. Is it just me or is that short section of 287 really shitty? I feel like there are always strong cross-winds, and the road surface is unusually bumpy. All I managed today was to ride to work and back (even if work is 30+ mi away - Greeley).

Yeah, 287 sucks balls. I'm usually only on it long enough to take the turnoff to Laporte.

But Buckhorn/Stove Prarie/Poudre Canyon is a great ride.  [thumbsup]

I like Rist Canyon for short rides, too, but you kind of have to get to know the road to ride it well. The sight lines aren't that great.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.
