..the day DMG begins to understand that motorcycle racing is not auto racing.

good news, slightly unfortunate.  but the (apparent) new DMG rules were going to sink the OEMs.  and sales are bad enough as it is.
Like this is the racing, no?

I admire their spirit.  If you're not getting what you want, then go build it for yourself.

2005 S2R -- Mods installed: DP termi full racing kit, ST4 Forks, S4R rear shock, 999 Radial Brake and Clutch MCs, 4 pot Brembo Calipers, 320mm Snowflake rotors, SBK Quick change carrier, 43T rear sproket, Tomaselli Clip Ons, Cyclecat Frame Sliders, ASV Levers, zero indicators, Supernova taillight

SP3

I already watch virtually no AMA stuff on TV and only attend the Mid-O Vintage event now. But with the new NASC.. err, DMG rules coming, I don't have to worry about changing my viewing habbits. They can't get "prototype" sportscar racing right, why should I believe they'll get motorcycle racing right?

I think it's great that the MIC wants something better than what DMG has proposed....and are willing to do something to get it.

I just hope it's better than what the AMA had. :-\
