I just beat a lane splitting ticket in NYC.

Thats 6-9 career wins, and 4 wins in a row so far

I should write a tutorial on how to beat NYC tickets since i use the same approach each time but im afraid word gets around and it doesnt work anymore!

WOO!!

Points free, but this one is on my driving record as a not guilty.

Got out of my last ticket in a cage because the officer forgot to ask me to sign the ticket.
I was hoping it would get thrown out but it shows up as "not guilty"

Congrats on 4 in a row

Maybe he's planning ahead or maybe it's wishful thinking?

As a plaintiff or defendant?

I've only "lost" in traffic court one time in ten years and that was just because the lawyer that was filling in for the judge didn't know traffic law. In essence, I neither win or lose. I usually don't care what the judge does with their case. I show up if I'm commanded to and tell the truth. I have made it a point to show up very prepared (video, pictures, etc) for the one or two defendants that filed IA complaints against me claiming I cited them because of their race. Nothing is more insulting then calling my integrity into question.

I've helped many defendants plea their cases down to small fines with no points. I had the judge tell a girl she couldn't go to traffic school in lieu of a conviction because her speed exceeded the threshold. I pointed out the error factor in my speedo calibration and he let her go to traffic school.

As a defendant I am 2-2.

Nice.

I never get lucky.  Too many points and plea downs.  I mean I f'n even got pulled over for license plate position despite the fact I have been stopped before and they didn't charge me on that.  so far this year none (came close the other night but he let us go coz he knew it wasn't us 3 that was speeding.  He thanked us for being good riders and stopping while others left)

I got nothing good to say about them pretty much so i will keep quiet.

Glad you beat them !
