Hey everybody,
My name is Sean and I am now an owner of a '95 M900 with 8K miles. Picked it off craigslist for a steal. Ill probably be coming to you with questions and help with turning this bad mama-jama into sweetness.
Oh yeah, this is my first road bike but I have been riding for a few years.  ;D

Welcome,

You happen to know the maintenance history of her? Or you know the needs for a belt driven valve train Duc?

One thing that catches some folks out who aren't familiar is that the belts need to be replaced at 12K miles or 2 years of service regardless of miles (if less than 12k). If you're decently mechanically savvy it's any easy job especially on that era bike. There's video tutorials out there. Hardest part is wiggling out the vertical belt cover... really.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

- '08 KTM 690 StupidMoto
- '07 Triumph 675 Track bike.

Are you sure you want to do that?  Removing them will make the bike go slower.  ;D
"I doubt I'm her type---I'm sure she's used to the finer things.  I'm usually broke. I'm kinda sloppy…"

Haha, yep I've downloaded all the service intervals and am doing all the thing that the previous owner probably didnt do. Have the new belts due to be here in the next day or two, as well as tires, batt, seat cowl, etc.
Oh, I was wondering if anybody had a good alternative seat. I like the fit, i just wish I wasn't sitting up against the tank, i scooch back in the saddle but always seem to slide back forward, saw some corbins that looked like the rider position is further back. Am I right? Anybody have one they don't need? Im 6'2" if that helps the situation.
