Desmosedici - it's the new Paso (except the bodywork doesn't fit as well)

I have no idea how one would do that and not notice. You'd think the cord wrapping up would make noise or something.

To add to this, I would think almost certainly the bike would be on a stand while the warmer was on it. You would have to take the bike off the stand, and unplug the warmer, and then somehow not notice?

Maybe someone wanted to win at all costs...  [laugh]

Having done my share of truly idiotic shit at the track, I'm not surprised.  I don't know how he managed to screw that up, but I'm not surprised.  If you figure the number of hours people spend at the track, the number of people at any given track and the sheer sensory overload of trying to get everything right, things--even the most obvious, dumb crap--will get missed.

That said, I've never even heard of that one before.  Wow.

I saw a guy at a 6hr race at Road Atlanta leave the pits with the rear stand still on, made it all the way down pit road with people waving at him. Went to go into turn 1 and oops.

I know the track, but there was some discussion as to which trackday. Not the one everyone assumed

Everybody says tire warmers help you have optimal traction right from the get-go.

Clearly not the case.

I'm assuming he's not using a warmer on the front tire, because if he was he would have removed that rear one before riding off.

Glad to see he didnt spoil his day with a stupid spill!
