When we were coming home from LYD's last night it occured to me that there will probably be three new women Ducati riders tooling around with us very soon ("us" being a group informally known as the Lone Star Ducati club    ):


Bonnie, Tommy's wife (great to meet her yesterday; sounds like she's not new to riding or Ducatis),

Lyndy, Jim's wife and

Sarah, Ryan's wife.

At the Italian restaurant in Frisco, I met Suzanne and her husband Mark (?).  She rides a Monster 620 Dark.  I hope they make it to our board.  So with Maria, there will be a half dozen hooliganeetes (?).  Good times!

For all the women riders in the group at least one is cancelled out by Jennifer's angst and dislike of all things with two wheels. Besides being married to me what is wrong with her?

On a related note, I've seen a lot more women-specific jackets and pants from almost all the major manufacturers now which is great - not that I'm a big fan of pink or anything    - but to have something that's tailored to fit is very nice.  The Ducati branded suits and jackets are the cream of the crop as far as fit goes.

We may have another female rider.  She is the wife of someone with the screen name "Slag".  They posted in the Westie Thursday night dinner thread.
