Hey folks,
So I've been lurking around here and stealing all the useful info for a couple of years now and I figure its about time to share some photos, adventure stories, and maybe some helpful advice.

OK, to the important bits:
I live in Newcastle in Australia, but I'm about to move to Mudgee and spend 90% of my time travelling anyway.
I've been riding for about a year and a half now and I'm about to graduate to my first big boys bike.
I am 198cm, 130kg / 6'8", 285lbs

After many years of nomadic living, I bought a garage (with a house attached) in 2011 and shortly thereafter bought myself a 2002 Monster 400. See, in Aus we have restrictions for new riders, and the 620 has a throttle restrictor (or something) to keep the power down. I didnt like the idea of that too much, but I did like the idea of the fantastic, unrestricted 400 with Keihin race carbs that i found hidden in the back yard of a bike shop in Parramatta. She was dirty, forgotten, and silver with rainbow sparkle top coat which instantly earned her the nickname of "the Barbie bike".

Anyway, this is starting to drag on. Barbie and I have both come a long way and had some great adventures since our eyes met across the junk pile out the back of the bike shop and I hope to share some of that with the folks here over the next few months.

welcome! where are the pictures?
Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty, and the pigs like it...
