several sources have talked about it as though it's a done deal. who knows.

they did offer him the job in '06 after rossi turned it down, before they finally gave it to stoner.

I hope Hayden does go to Ducati. I'm a Stoner fan now but it's more because he rides the Ducati which is why I feel most of us like him.

Having an American on a Ducati would be sick. I've always been a fan of Hayden ever since I started watching MC racing.

I for one hope this goes through. 

I guess I'm the minority.  I became a Stoner fan when he was scrapping with Pedrosa on 250s in '06.  I was pretty excited when he got the Ducati ride and I'm stoked about how well he's done with it.
