That doesn't particularly make me angry.  If anything, those cops didn't want to write an inordinate amount of tickets.  I applaud them!

But they were also allowed to retire with full benefits, and no charges will probably brought against them....just goes to show how the cops get away with illegal activites all the time. "Do as I say, not as I do.." ......and did charges ever come up against that DA that was guzzling beer during work and driving around in city owed vehicles? Probably not....

I hear you, I'm no fan of it either.  It's like a good old boys club.  In this case, I think all they did was tell a white lie to their bosses.  But what do I know, and why am I defending them? 

My sister is a reporter and knows the guy who wrote this article.  It is frustrating how evasive they are, she said they were not cooperative with Lance, the reporter.

She said she was meeting with a police spokesman later this week to talk about why they suck so bad!
