Electraeon Fast Throttle Cam Install Question - Monster 796

I just got the fast throttle cam in the mail today.  Looking at removing the stock throttle cam on the bike, it seems like the frame is in the way of accessing the nut that secures the stock cam.  Do I need to remove the air box to do the install?
