Vertis will be doing a photo shoot for Tracy Locke next week â€" Wednesday & Thursday â€" for “Pounce” cat treats.

We are holding an open casting for your cats & cats you know of that fit our description.

We are looking for 6-8 cats to be included, so we need to see a lot of cats to get that many.

The cats need to be somewhat obedient or predictable. (We know that cats are very independent) and able to play on set with a model.  See below for notes about the shots & the games they will be playing.

Type of cats: yellow and white tabby, calico, brownish tabby, nothing exotic like a Persian, Siamese, Manx, etc.

The purpose of the casting call is to find the right animal for the right shot in similar conditions that we will have while shooting â€" lights/noise/strangers.

Cats will be in different settings â€" we will choose 1 cat for every setting â€" so your cat might be perfect for playing with a toy in a bathtub (no water), or better at playing with a string in the air, that type of thing.

Casting will be at Vertis Communications:

This Thursday, the 17th from 9:30am â€" 4:30pm. Please contact Sandi Allison if you can make it - If you have the perfect cat & can"t make that time slot â€" there may be a 2nd time you could bring them to.

The cats will be paid a hefty fee - $75/hr and we will need them a minimum of 2 hours, possibly longer, for the photo shoot next week.

I second the BOOOO although I thought maybe it was for the Pussycat Dolls - my hopes & dreams are obviously significantly different than McK's  .  This is somewhat akin to announcing a casting call for Rockettes when you are looking for pebbles ( I hear the wheels turning - not Flintstone ).
