Where to try on helmets?

I'm looking to get my lady friend a helmet but don't want to order online because it's her first and so she needs to try them on.

Where in the metro NYC area can I try on a variety of helmets?  Ideally I'd go to the Revzilla store in Philly because they have a huge selection, but that's a bit far away.  I went to Ducati/Triumph downtown but they only had mid-to-high end models of the Shoei and AGV line.  I'd like her to try a K3 (AGV) and maybe some Bell or Nolan models.

Suggestions?

A variety of helmets is difficult, mostly because people try them on then go home and mail order them.  You did mention Bell and these folk are close to you.   http://uniongaragenyc.com   Mostly they cater to the vintage and scooter crowd with safety in mind.  Extremely knowledgeable. folk.  You can get her a whole wardrobe there.  Tell them Howie from DESMO sent you.  The only other place that I can think of with a large selection and reasonable prices is Cycle Therapy   http://www.cycletherapynyc.com   can't say I have a warm spot in my heart for them.  Oh, don't know what is up with this dealer   http://www.carbonnegative.com  formerly Vespa Soho and  Mcarran Motors.  Vespa Soho had some nice helmets.

Thanks, Howie.  Just called Union Garage and had a nice chat with the guy.  Will definitely get the lady down there sometime.  They have a good selection of Bell, which includes one the helmets I want her to try.

There are also these guys that right over the bridge in NJ:

Not sure how much selection they have in store but they seem to be trying to build themselves up as a Revzilla Jr.  And yeah, their address is really confusing... it's on park avenue in the city of West New York... that's actually in NJ.

Thanks.  I've actually been there.  Selection is very limited in-store because the store is small.  They do carry good brands, but I've not found it worth the ride since I can get most of what they carry (e.g. Dainese, Rev'it) at the Ducati/Triumph dealer, in the event that I need it immediately.

If you head out to Jericho Tpke in Long Island around Mineola (around 30-35mins from NYC/BK) there's a ducati dealer (gold coast) and a Suzuki Yamaha dealer in close proximity, can cover some of the brands you're looking for. If you go west into queens I think there's another Kawi dealer.
