but to answer your question really about why not just buy a new iphone....i think i can get by okay with fauxGPS...and that's really the only big draw for me for the iphone.  the slower net speeds wouldn't be a huge worry for me, as i've done okay without the internet in my pocket all these years, and i don't currently need push email stuff for work (i'm just not that important)... and the data plan should be decently cheaper.  so, as long as it has multiple customizable alarms like my current phone, i think i'd be just fine.

And it may be just me, but I can't figure out how to setup a group to text to. Yes, I can have multiple recipients, but I have to select them all each time. Which sucks if I want to text the Lollie Bombs.
