I am posting this up because if it saves one single person from what I had to deal with it was well worth the time.

This summer I missed a couple of calls from 650 253 2000.  No message was left so I just figured it was a sales or donation call.  How wrong I was.

It was from Google.  They wanted to let me know that our company website was infected with a phishing scam before blacklisting us.  This did not affect our hosting and the website continued to show up but our incoming retail phone line went fairly quiet.  It took a me a bit long to check the web-stats and I was dealing with a virus on the site with them.  It was their failure to remove it (like I paid them to) that managed to finally get us blacklisted.   

Lost half our summer this year by the time we got everything 80% restored.   

I now have 650 253 2000 entered into my contacts as Google and VIP  If you own a business that relies on the internet or Google maps I would suggest adding them.  Cost us a ton of money this year.
