This is the eventual update between other things like racing.

The ST tank isn't shaped the same underneath, so I borrowed a concept from something I saw on Duck-Stew's bike and rolled my own... eventually. The exhaust is mostly made of Ducati bits except the shiny bit at the end.

This also necessitated moving some things, like the battery and the regulator and the breather box and...

What you can't see because all my allen wrenches are out in the "shed" tonight is what I did with the coils and ECU.

The ECU and coil solution becomes relevant in light of my current issues... I think there is some interference that needs to be eliminated. I wish I knew how to test for EMI in real-world conditions.

So it turned out to be the hot wire to the fuses... got pinched between the tank and the vertical head. Vibration, etc., wore through the insulation and voila: toasty wire.

The exhaust and intake set-up appears to have made the bike surprisingly tractable. It rides easily at 2500 rpm.
