Humans of New York or HONY. I've been following this page for a couple years and consider it worthwhile. The author takes pictures of people and gets their stories. They are fun, heartbreaking, and everything in between. Some are one post. Some are several posts which he will show with 1/5, 4/5, etc. Sometimes it's so sad you don't want to see the 5/5 post. A few months back he did a series on a children cancer hospital and did a fundraiser for the program. The fundraiser hit over 3 million dollars in about a week. Incredible.

This past week he has been doing a series on veterans and PTSD. If you read though all the posts from 8-31 (5/5) you get what I would consider the most clear explanation of what PTSD is and how it affects these vets. They are doing a fundraiser for the program that is participating in the series. Two days in and over $500K raised. Being able to donate to a worthwhile program is much easier with the backstory you gets from the HONY page.

Worth a look if you haven't already been there.
