I'm new to this forum but not to motorcycles nor Ducatis. My first bike was an NSU Quickly moped, followed by a new 1965 Honda 305 Super Hawk. A number of Hondas came next (two 450s, 350, 1969 750 Four K0, 550 and 400 Four) before I began riding Italian (Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans Type 1) and my first Ducati, a 1982 Pantah 600.
I modified that bike heavily and raced it in the old AMA "Battle of the Twins" Lightweight Modified class, becoming class champ in 1984/5 and winning my race at Daytona Bike Week 1985. Since then I've owned a 907 i.e., 900SS, 748R and a Monster 1200, plus my current MV F3 675.

I also have a small business creating/selling unique design bellypans for the new Monster 821/1200/1200S models.

You must be right. Hey, not all of us are 30 yrs old.

I'm surprised no one here has expressed interest about my bellypans for the Monsters.

Welcome aboard, rz33v4!

You got a vintage picture of you racing that Pantah?

I do have a good photo on my race Pantah, but can't figure out how to upload it to this site. I see the "insert image" button, but can't make it work so far.

There is a tutorial somewhere on here, but I'm not sure where.

Basically, you need the file uploaded on some online website (like flickr or photobucket or the like) and the you put the address i nbetween the [ img and /img] tags.

This was me at Daytona Bike Week 1985, riding a highly modified Pantah 600, with a 750cc motor. I won this race and the season class championship in the Battle of the Twins Lightweight Modified (750cc) class.
