After a long hiatus I'm back on 2 wheels, almost.
My ride is a bit of a project, but we should be on the road by April!

My project bike is a 2004 M1000. I love the ds engine.

My previous bike was an s2r1000. Now I don't have to miss it any more.

New seat cover from luimoto. Ecu, gadge, keyset combo from an 06 s2r1000 was plug and play on the 2004 monster 1000. No changes needed, at least to get it running. The tanks, and thus the fuel pumps are different. We'll see if the differences shows when I have it out. Throttle response is good.

There was a lot of black rattle can all over, in the process of cleaning it up.

So uh, talked to the previous owner and the belts are at least 10 years old. Anyone have a set kicking around?

Since chris is out, you can get belts from any shop that sells the Parts Unlimited line.

Any way you can hot link pictures to the DMF. As is, we're directed to Imgur who, surprise surprise, wants our souls.
