I got 30k on a bike bought with no miles in '06 It's an '04 though, so not the faintest how it'd work out.

just advise your insurance adjustor that you made an honest mistake, and quoted them the mileage in kilometers. 

17,645 km = approx. 10,964 miles

your still above average mileage ... but only by 1.98 times, rather than 3.19 times
