Photoshop request...Engine cases...Suggestions?

I recently low-sided my '06 S2R 800.  I did end up scraping my left side engine case.  It looks to be mostly a cosmetic scar.  I was thinking of cleaning it up and powdercoating it.  I was thinking a dark gray color, not quite black.  Any photochoppers care to give me an idea of what it would look like?  Or if you think another color would look better, give that a go.  Thanks in advance to anyone that tries or gives suggestions!!!!

Black does not look too bad.  I was afraid it would be too much, but the gray cylinders tone it down a lot!! Thanks!!!

Can anyone try a charcoal gray??  Thanks again!!

lawlesspka on the old board painted the engine case black on his S2R800 Dark about two years ago... you may still be able to find a picture of it over there.

i painted my side cover, valve covers, and oil cooler (matte finnish) charcoal grey.  sorry i do not have a better photo.

An Acura grey color on the cases & rear sets.





You can see the color difference in these photos best by focusing on the swing arm which is the same color as the engine.

I have found a local powdercoater that also does ceramic coatings for exhausts.....

I am really liking the look of the black passenger pegs!!!!

I will have to see what colors they offer.  Should I try to get everything the same color?  OR would it look cleaner to have engine/foo pegs a flat color to match the frame, and the exhaust in a gloss to match the body....Discuss!!!

Here are my medium gloss powdercoated passengers sets.
My main issue is just the clutch cover itself, if it was a separate piece it would have been black/grey already.
