I have the same jacket. I wear a sz 44 suit jacket but the ducati is a 58. that said, it fits fine, but I do notice that sometimes the neck feels tight (high speeds, tucking my head) and other times it's an air funnel (sitting upright, slow speeds). other than that, I don't get the drag, but I get cozy with the tank and pull my elbows in!

I have a similar problem... but I know it has to do with jacket fitment.

I have a perf'd Ducati 80's jacket in EU56.  Fits as close to perfect as possible, except the sleeves are a tad short.  (NOTE: the torso fit is perfect INCLUDING my Dainese Wave back protector... it's a tad loose without the back protector)  It does not feel like a parachute when riding, it's pretty much perfect.

I recently bought an A* Six-3 leather jacket for fall riding, non-perf'd.  It's also a 56, but it's a bit big in the torso and arms, and I felt it as soon as I got up to freeway speed the first time.  Unfortunately, I couldn't afford a Dainese all-season or non-perf'd jacket, so I'm stuck with the A*.  But for $200 (as opposed to the $450+ I'd have to spend on Dainese), I can't complain too much.

So anyway, my opinion is that the OP's jacket does not fit correctly.  If it feels like a parachute, it's too big.  Sorry mang.  :-\
If your jacket sleeves seem short, get a good ( Held, Alpinestars , Spidi, etc. ) long gauntlet Racing Gloves which will fit over your jacket sleeves .

That way you won't feel like you have short jacket sleeves plus  you'll have good hand protection.  Dolph

I know.  I've had a pair of Dainese Hellracer's from the get-go.  ;)  The jacket sleeves are still short on the A*, as they just barely make it under the gauntlet, and I have to be careful to pull the sleeve down and gauntlet up when I'm putting them on.  I'm covered... but I hope I never have to test the crashworthiness of said coverage.  So even with the gauntlets, I still feel like I have short jacket sleeves.  Side-effect of being a tall wanker.  C'est la Vie.

The Dainese/Ducati 80's jacket is better than the A* in arm length, and is more secure under the gauntlets.
