kickstand switch

Is there anyway to disable the kickstand switch,i've got 3 wires light green,light green/white and black,which one i connect together?
also i cut the plastic housing of the kickstand swich and a fairly good amount of water came dripping,from washing the bike i guess,so that probably ruined the switch itself.

On my bike ('01 750) it is green to black.   Go here   http://www.ducati.com/en/bikes/service/manuals/2008.jhtml?family=manuals
then go to your year and model.  Most of the manuals have a wiring diagram in the back.
