why does it have to be washed?

part of why mine is so special is the protective coating of grime on it. it took me 4 years to get the color of the engine case right. it now stands out because it's not that bright shiny gray ;D

Imo, washing should only be required when the dirt is not  an integral part of the bike.  I nominate Knight's bike WITH dirt.

clarification on the rules.

may I submit my "monstered" 900ss once I'm done with it?
or are we keeping it pure-blood monsters?  No hard feelings either way, I should have kept my monster too.
