f'rinstance, someone, maybe on a trip, threw up a rock (intentionally? what do YOU think??), & it broke out a headlight, say, on maybe an '06 PS, but all the lights still worked, just a new piece of front glass was needed, if this actually happened where could one find a replacement?!? :P

Not sure of the part number, but I think it might be the same glass as on the monsters.  pm McKraut for info on where he got a new glass.

ebay?

There's two or three vendors who part out Ducatis.  I've seen quite a few odds and ends for the Monster and 999.  Not that I ever actually buy anything on ebay...

Why didn't you ask..........
It was an insurance claim......and the headlight was good.

Yes, some of those parts are actually interchangeable.

I was going to suggest this option.  Did they truck already come by and take her away??  That was quick.

Whaaaat? who would do such a despicable thing?

Go to the old board and ask chris at motored sports, he should be able to hook you up for not that much...

i still have the take-off glass if you want it man...it's got a small hole from a rock, about the size of a BB, but otherwise it's fine.  i would have totally kept it on there, but figured since this is my daily driver, i kind of need the headlight to be water-proof as opposed to water-resistant.

fyi, i got the replacement glass from fort worth bmw...but that shit was $50.  i believe this is the part number if you would rather go that route:  63121358147
