SKY DIVING!

Personally, sky diving is the best adrenaline rush I have ever experienced.

I have jumped (tandem) 3 times.

It is such a free feeling, it is unbelievable.

I can't wait to go again, just an expensive habit.....

Costs about 400$ to get your solo certification and then once you have that, 20$ a jump.

However......buying a parachute rig is not cheap, about 4g for a decent one

Avid skydiver here, went once when I was 18 and got hooked

got certified and now saving up to buy my own gear

it's the most frightning feeling followed by the most serene feeling you've ever expierence

Everywhere ive seen has 3 tandems, and ~10 AFF jumps before you get certified, but you still need a total of 25 jumps to be licensed. ~$2000 for the first 13 jumps. I want to get certified.

You should try aerobatic flying aka creating your own rollercoaster. I did some in a stearman (open cockpit biplane) all the stuff you can imagine, spins, rolls, immelmans, hammer heads blah blah. The best part for you guys is that when the shit hits the fan you get to skydive too.

No but seriously I think I'm gunna try skydiving soon. It sucks that I cant jump out of my own plane because it is a low wing and I would take out the tail.

I did it as a college class.  It was our very first dive and we had to pack our own chute and stand in line for our turn in the Cessna.  The trip right before mine were two women; the first jump went fine; the second gal opened as a "May West" and had a line wrapped around the chute.  It collapsed twice on the way down and she was too freaked to release and deploy the belly chute.  She was just a streamer coming down from 3,000 feet.  The it would partially open and twirl and then it would collapse again.  Luckily it pop partially back open about 500 feet above the ground and she only sprained her leg. 

Then it was my turn.  I was up next and I was buddied up with a cute chick and she looks at me and says “you still gonna jump?”  What is any red-blooded mojo 20 year old college boy going to say to that?

Hell yes.  And I jumped.

I distinctly remember counting …arch one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand, PULL one-thousand.  But after I landed the crew on the plane said they could just hear me screaming all the way down.  It was one of the best three minutes rides I have ever taken.
