my to-be has my attic stuffed and it's time to dump the excess.  pm me and I'll send picks but it's an $800 car carrier (ie. crap hauler) that was used twice to and from San Diego.  This is the box and it does lock http://www.thuleracks.com/product.asp?dept_id=11&sku=605   She bought the large one and I will measure upon request.
how's $250 (price negotiable as I need space above to store more bike stuff  )?  it cost nearly $800 installed at REI with rails, hooks and such.  And I will deliver so let me know.

It came on a civic but it is adjustable and fits on all standard cars
