DP Air Filter, Clean/Replace?

I have the DP Air filter/open air box/Termi/DP ECU upgrade kit fitted to my S2R 800 07.

I never asked the dealer if the filter is cleanable or is it a replaceable part?

I assume the replacement performance filter is going to be a cleanable filter, is there a specific procedure or cleaning kit I should follow/purchase?

Should be cleanable.  K&N makes a filter maintenance kit.  Or you can buy their cleaner and filter oil separately

and when you rinse the cleaner out, ALWAYS spray with LOW PRESSURE and from the clean side out toward the dirty side so as not to force the dirt in deeper or thru the filter...
