Windscreen "staining" clean and Options Questions

I have the 09 696 with the windscreen/bikini fairing. Well, after a ride and got home, noticed strange "staining" on clear windscreen only...thought it was bird crap (ok do NOT laugh), but it looks more like white paint stain and very odd as it is on outside AND inside, but cannot be "scratched off" whatsoever.  Besides feeling a lil sabbatoged (sp?), I am frustrated with removing this stuff...I DID try non-acetone nail polish remover, but it did NOTHING!!!

So, anyone have ideas on how to clean/remove this SAFELY?

If not, did I see an optional windscreen, SMOKED in fact somewhere to purchase???

Thanks all!

if you could post some pix that would help a lot.  Otherwise, you could try using some plastic polish and a microfiber cloth.

try a soft polish made specifically for jeep/ convertible soft windows.....?
then work your way up the abrasive ladder until you get results....

Tks guys!  I wil try n get some pix posted also-altho not sure it will be clear enuff to make out what it really is.

Am I imagining things also, or did I see a replacement windscreen only, smoked specifically, for this fairing?

No not imagining, I have the same white spots on my S4RS. I don't know how they got there either. Since I don't actually look through it, I haven't really tried to clean them off yet. But I did get some plexi polish from Girot's garage

I think it says Barracuda - if you like it, you might do a search?

NICE!!!!!!!!!!! I LIKE that screen.  Almost forgot about mine tho, since pulling it off and riding without it.  May pull it out and make it a project or start shopping for one in this pic. TKS!

I have 'em also.  And for the exact reason stated above, have done nothing about it.
