Monthly Compulsory Ride [BrisVegas] - Feb 09

Ok, lets plan our next ride.

Propose we head out to "Queen Mary Falls" via Boonah back via Warick, then either up the main highway or round the back towards Toowoomba, down Ma Ma Creek and then disperse. Alternatively keep pushing through Toowoomba down the back way into Esk, around Somerset/Wyvenhoe and up to Glorious. Big day, lots of fuel stops for the 4Vs (and small bladders).

We could meet in Boonah @ 0900 for Breaky. Grab some fuel and away we go.

What dates are most suitable?

Just got a news letter from EuroTwins and they are having a ride day on 22 Feb 09 departing from their shop @ 830 .............how does that sound?

My s4r is up on blocks while I wait for a few bits to arrive. Feb's a prob for me with weekend commitments so the best I can hope for is a quick early morning weekend run. Sorry guys but I'll be up for a March ride in the middle of the month.

Loony, I'll be keen to see the flash bits. Wanna post up a few pics?

OK, spoke to Bevan and he doesn't have any fixed plans but is looking to do a run down to Kyogle have lunch and back again.

So depart 0830 back to Brissy by 1600, I guess I'd call that an all day ride.

OK, time is running out - so who is up for a ride on Sunday 22 Feb 09?

Dropped by EuroTwins today and Bevan is looking at heading south to the Gold Coast Hinterland.

Timings are; depart Bullock Head Road, Sumner @ 0830 and have lunch down south. Return ride should see us back in Brissy no later than (NLT) 1600.

Doesn't look like I'll be fit enough for the ride

as i'm carrying a corked back muscle at the moment (ducked and weaved when I should have blocked)
getting lot's of physio thanks to a mate but been off the bike since Friday. Will see how I go but not looking good at tis stage.

With the Monster still with Alex at LAE, my free time this weekend will be spent down at the Australian Motorcycle Expo on the Gold Coast.

You guys could always do a loop through the GC hinterland and drop in at the expo

OK, just got back from the monthly ride - no OzMonster dudes (except me)

Had a good day anyway, did some 500+ Km with lots of varying conditions including plenty of rain.

So who's organising next months ride?

I would of come monsterdorf but unfortunately after many many many.. and umm many drinks friday night for a friends birthday... and having a cabbie try to extort me I was too dead to ride
