At my track day yesterday Michael Csysz was out there on his brand new Desmosedici. I've never been so impressed with a bike before. Exhaust note was glorious and made me cry  :D Once he got around me in this pic it was fun to chase him around, listening to that motor. There was an abundance of traffic during this session for him to get through otherwise he would have left me in the dust. So glad to see a bike used for it's intended purpose as well.

Well as you know they changed to 800cc and his bike is still a 990 so plans have changed to either WSBK or AMA. Even now the AMA is up in the air with DMG buying the rights. There's an article about the C1 and its progress in this months Cycle World. Progress is still being made according to the article.

The C1 one is a $1mil prototype and I'd assume the Desmosedici is merely part of the R&D for it. As is the MV, various Hondas, Triumphs etc...

I hear that money isn't one of his problems. I like some of his ideas on the bike & would sure like to see it develop into something.

thats a nice tax write-off  [laugh]

Isn't it though... [beer]

And the C1 has alot going for it. I'd love to see Motoczysz become a big time manufacturer of sportbikes. He'd have something really unique and in so many ways better than what any of us have become accustomed to with IL4's, twins, suspension etc. To have all that going on in the US and locally here in Portland would be pretty sweet. Seriously what do us Yanks have to be proud of from a motorcycle perspective? I can't get into 800lb pigs  [cheeky]
