wow, good to see you're ok for the most part lucrece, I would take adam's advice and keep an eye on yourself though, better that you be diligent now and don't do anything to aggravate any lingering issues.

I'd like to see a bit more of the damage to the bike, but from the laundry list, it sounds like the bike's pretty bad off.  It may not be too terribly efficient to try to resurrect it, but I understand why you want to.
I'd start tearing her down completely, especially considering the wiring harness is torn apart.  Get it down to all the constituent parts and then take a good inventory of what needs to be repaired or replaced, then start back up again.

Feel free to give me a call if you guys need some help

Desmolu,

So sorry to hear about the accident.  The good news is that you are okay and Jesus got you covered with his 696.
Get well, so you can go riding again.

Thanks for the offer, man! Pics of the damage posted to the GMF thread, although not the best pics.

She's going to Metric for the insurance co's requirement. Hoping to buy her back and resurrect as a track bike. You are all kinds of welcome to participate in the fun of the build! Some Hiero expertise will be needed, I am sure (fondue could be involved too ;))

During all these Hill Country runs, do any of you take the time to stop by the Motorcycle Museum in Vanderpool?

There are some really cool old bikes, Vincents, Enfields, BSA's AJS's and even a few old Ducs including a nice single cylinder bevel drive.
