Special added bonus is they fit the float valves on carbies.

Well, today I took the nipple off the tank to try and figure out what size it is. Nobody could tell me.  ??? It's a rather random size that isn't common apparently. So that kind of kills my idea for putting it right at the outlet for the tank unless I get someone to cut off the existing thread and put on something more common which I don't want to do.  :(

As for the part numbers that pompetta used:

I have the chrome-plated brass quick disconnects from omega.com

Do a search, I listed the part numbers for someone the other day.

Here ya go:

Here are the part numbers and prices for the chrome-plated brass couplings:
FT-LCD170-05: $18
FT-LCD220-05: $11.15

They also sell plastic ones which are less expensive.

Omega is a great company from whom to order...fast shipping and great customer service.
But prices have gone up...? Dang weak $
FT-LCD170-05      $24     5/16" ID hose barb, In-line, 2.00" Length, Shutoff, Coupling body 1/4" flow
FT-LCD220-05      $15     5/16" ID, Hose barb, Straights, 1.35" LC Length, 1.85" LCD Length, Shutoff, Insert 1/4" flow

I THINK that if you wanted to save a bit of coin, you could go with a shutoff on only 1 side and get a
FT-LC220-05      $7    5/16" ID, Straights, Hose barb, 1.35" LC Length, 1.85" LCD Length, Straight thru, Insert 1/4" flow

It'll save you $8 but you'll spill a bit of gas that's in the line.
ErkZ NOT in SLO w/ his '95 m900!
