After years of waiting for the 'right time', I finally bought an '06 S2R800.

Looking forward to dodging raindrops and putting some miles on before the end of the summer!

Hello! Welcome to the loony bin  ;D

Is this your first bike? What part of NH are you from? I can send you some great routes (or go on a ride if I still own a bike  ;D )

All,

Thanks for the welcome!  I just picked her up this evening... talk about feeling like a kid on Christmas!  ;D

DrDesmosedici: I live in Manch-vegas.  This isn't my first motorcycle, but its the first I've owned in 7 or 8 years.  I rode the wheels off a 1981 Suzuki GS650 during my college days.  I plan on doing quite a bit of skill-rebuilding in the coming weeks (years)!

somegirl: Thanks for letting me know about the local group!
