1.  Call the plumber that installed your fixture that caused the leak/damage.   Difficulty - Easy

2.  Be a man and do fix it yourself.  Difficulty - (for you) Difficult/Impossible

Your right "electron", I should have called the original installer, but instead I called a friend that works with a plumbing company, and I trust him.  That friend brought over the "Pro" (and I believe that he thought you could do the job), now a few hundred bucks later I still have an unfinished patch from your handy blade (don't make the beast with two backsing think about flattering yourself here) .  

For the record:  A man knows his abilities.  And I,  am NOT a Plumber.
