Boots under pants/leathers

Looking to get some new boots.  Thinking about the Dainese Torque-Ins, good price and look like they do the job.  Not a fan of boots over pants/leathers (I am an idiot, but can't even tuck my shirt in without being extremely uncomfortable), and was wondering if anyone has any experience using these boots with non-Dainese leathers.  Apparently the Dainese leathers have a boot catch mechanism (but are insanely expensive), does anyone have experience using them with a basic A* 2-piece (SP-1) or something similar?
