Hello, My name is Mike and I'm stationed at Ft. Knox KY.
My current bike is a 2003 Honda RC51 with Sato pipes, PC III, sliders, and a few other mods [thumbsup]
My other current bike is a 2007 Duc monster 695 with termignoni high mount pipes, aftermarket triple tree with woodcraft clip ons, rear sets, and some other mods 8)
At first I set the monster up for some track days but never made it so now I'm setting it up a bit more like a streetfighter and to be a little more comfy to ride. Just found this site and there seems to be alot of great info here. This is my first Duc so I'm very eager to get started. Been riding for about 15 years. I started with 2 harleys then on to racing hare scrambles on a Honda CR250 then onto my current bikes. So pretty much if it has 2 wheels and a motor I'm intrested ;D

Welcome Mike!  Nice choice on the Duc (I also have a 695 with high termis). [thumbsup]

Sounds like a fun riding history. [moto]

You'll find lots of great info here.  We do love bike pictures so feel free to show off your bikes and mods. ;D

Have fun!

Thank you for the welcome [thumbsup]
As I said before the bike was set up to be used for track days but that just kinda fell to the waist side :-[so now I'm going a new route. I have a friend who has an SV650 set up kinda like a hypermotard style. Anyways I rode his bike and fell in love with it. So we got with another friend and the transformation has started. We swapped out the race parts for a more comfy style of riding. Swapped rear sets back to some stock style pegs, triple tree back to a stock style, clipons for some motorcross bars and some other things too. New tires, chain, sprockets, full service, and we are looking to swap out the bulky gauge cluster for a motorcross/enduro style gauge but will have to see what will need to be done about the anti-theft deal on it. I have heard about maybe reflashing the ecu to bypass that system but I don't know yet. The bike should be ready about mid April. At that point I will report back how I like it along with some pics and will be posting up the race parts on here for sale ;D I can't wait to get this bike out in the curves [moto]
