Helmet Advice?

I need a new helmet.  Money is tight. I would like one that incorporates a smoke visor and a clear, but I hate when they don't come all the way down. 


Anyone tried the Nexx X30?

Bell vortex; probably the best value in a helmet for the money imo. Also if you want to spend the bucks, you can get a transition shield for it (goes from clear to dark smoke based on UV rays).

well.. the best helmet is one that fits best...

But, look at the offerings from Akuma, HJC, Scorpion and AGV. All ahve some good helmets that won't crush a wallet like an Arai might.

I have the Vortex with the transition shield. Couldn't be happier.

I have an HJC FS-10.  Have seen them on close out for dirt cheap recently.  Has an integrated sun visor that flips up and down.

I love this helmet.
