I'm heading to Byron Bay (scenic route) to visit a mate and was planning to crisscross the mountains a few times on the way there and back. The Oxley of course and I've been advised to do the Gwyder Hwy, but I can see a number of other roads as well, Waterfall Way-Armidale to Bellingen, Bruxner Hwy-Tenterfield to Casino for example.

Has anyone ridden these roads or have any favourite "road you should not miss" in this area ?
