I was browsing online for boots.
the ones that i really like are
Dainese TRQ Race Out http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-trq-race-out-d-wp-boot
Puma 1000 v3 http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/1/36/25452/ITEM/Puma-1000-v3-Boots.aspx?WT.ac=SLIsearch
i have Dainese Leather suit + gloves and Puma Testastretta II Mid Boots. http://www.revzilla.com/product/puma-testastretta-ii-mid-boots .
I'm a weekend rider, i really like to be Track protected. Money isn't a problem when it comes to gear.
I know ya all are going to say that i don't really need any of those boots and that there are many other from Sidi , Alpinestars ect which are cheaper ..
thats not what i want to hear, i already know.  ;D
Please just tell me which one of them 2 would you go for.  thank you .  [moto]

I'd get the Dainese because of the subtle logos.
"Once you accept that a child on the autistic spectrum experiences the world in
a completely different way than you, you will be open to understand how that
 perspective
is even more amazing than yours."

Normally I'd agree with DP in regards to the logos, but I'm a Puma whore.  So.

The Pumas :)

ahaha i see its all abt logos..
...or rather the visibility of obnoxious looking ones.

I personally like SIDI boots, but you didn't want to hear that. ;D

based on my motorcycle boot thread, i ended up getting the puma's strictly based on maximum protection... the post that sold me was a the pavement doesn't care why you're kissing it, it's gonna f' u up, be protected.

I have the older model of the torque out boots.  My buddy works at the d-store and was telling me about a customer who got broadsided wearing his boots.  His foot got pinned by the car's bumper and the boots didn't crumple at all.  They don't look as protective but I've compared both and they're pretty similarly constructed with the exoskeleton design.  The Dainese boot just doesn't scream "I'm a motorcycle boot! look at me, damn you!  look!"

But, you're comparing apples and oranges.  You're comparing Puma's top line boot to Dainese's tier 2 boot.  The Axial is Dainese's top line boot, if I recall.
My fast lap is your sighting lap.

My sister got me the pumas as a bday present.. the boots arrived today.
I love the way they are!! thats the only thing i have to say!
the way they are designed the way they feel is unbelievable.. comfortable and stylish!
Now i have to give them a test ride see how they feel on the bike.
You cant go wrong with these boots..   [thumbsup] thx puma!

awesome!  i'm going to try and get out for a ride today with my new pumas as well :)  i wore them for a few hours the other day and they're plenty comfy!  the only complaint is that the non-flexible sole makes walking a bit awkward, clunking down on the heel, which could be a problem in wearing it out too soon, but otherwise, i'm psyched!

i think i might have to adjust my shifter... somebody mentioned it in the other motorcycle boot thread i started.  I currently have a difficult time getting my toe under the shifter, but i was working around it as i rode.  also at a stop, finding a place to put my legs got a little weird. the full length boot puts me at a wider stance than the doc martins.

I think these issues might work themselves out once the boots are more broken in... or at least i'm hoping they do.

just got back from the 1st ride of the season ;)
the boots were uncomfortable for the 1st 10miles.. then i got used to them.. yes they are not everyday riding boots...
they are made mostly for track riding .. if you are stopping at every other traffic light in the city .. those boots are not for you.. but if you are planning on stopping 5-6 time per ride
these boots are nice.. the way they are made is to put it under the shifter and go ride... the shifting is much better than my '10 puma testastrettas .. and the boots make you confident..
i got many comments from other riders and random ppl ... ;)
im happy with these pumas! (1000 V3)  [thumbsup]
