85 mph Speed limit in the works?

I really don't see it making a huge difference. The only stretches of road getting 85 are already at 80, so its not like every freeway will all of a sudden by 85.

I hit a stretch of the highway with 80 mph.  I had my cruise set at 82 and a State trooper pulled me over.  Searched my car and then gave me a lecture about speeding.  Wtf?!   

85 would be nice in the desert though.  It would definitely make the drive from Phoenix to Tucson a bit faster.

I usually set my cruise for 85 when I'm in the 80 zones and have never been bothered by the DPS.
